Flying Legends Air Show 2002

The three people in this shot from left to right is Mike Carey, Peter Jackson & Andy Towers I am taking the picture. Typical I always get the best jobs. All three are all pilots, Peter is a flying Instructor at Sherburn Aero Club (EGCJ) He's a good pilot to have with you in case the weather gets bad and we need to go into IMC to get back home, plus we can book the time in our log books. The other shot is Me having a quick look up from the instruments on the way down! The Aircraft is a PA28 Cadet 160 G-SACS not our first choice that day but the Aircraft we had booked a PA28 Archer 180 had gone off line the day before the show, good job there is plenty of the black stuff at Sherburn & Duxford or we would have had to leave the sarny's behind! Taking off at Duxford at the end of the show was less worrying all the grub gone and less fuel, G-SACS lifted off with loads of tarmac left, we climbed to 5.000' and enjoyed the trip back.
